It's holiday, I feel a bit busy with both kids full time at home...LOL. Ho ho...I love them, but as a normal person, sometime I need my quite times as well. Anyhow, we had good christmas day. The foods from Willow Pond were a bit disappointment, but then I suppose Christmas or any other festive day are not only about the foods, it's more being together with family. Spending a lovely day with them, away from crazy busy routines.
Hubby offered to host the Christmas at our place next year...for the first time ever. I didn't mind at all....specially would be lots more easier with the kids.....and the foods. Special request from MIL and her sister....they wanted my special spring rolls....and hubby wanted my chilli prawns. I guess I'd be cooking like a storm.
This holiday, I started reading again. My first book was The Rescue by Nicholas Spark. It's about a woman named Denise who has a boy who was a bit late in speech. She struggled in her life and met this man named Taylor who was trying to conquer his own fear. Anyway, it has happy ending. But by reading this story, I thought and felt like how lucky I am with my life and family.
My second book is Feel by Chris Heath. It's more like documentary about Robbie Williams. I haven't finish yet. I got this book as anniversary gift from hubby. Well we both agree to buy each other book. I got him Into the Dark Realm by Raymond Feist. Anyway, back to "Feel" the book, it's funny it's interesting to get to know about Robbie's life. But also make us realize that money can't buy your happiness. Looking forward to finish this book sometime this holiday.....if only the kids give me rest. LOL.
Alright...I better go. Need to pick up hubby and then go to airport to pick up his daughter. |

Oh ho ho ho....Merry Christmas to everyone. Wish everyone in the world have a safe festive season....and friendly new year.
Apart from that, it's summer time here in Australia. I start to make a new routine for my daughter. One is getting use to wearing no nappy (at least at home during the day), and new sleep pattern (instead giving her long pat till she slept, now we do the small pat and leave her to sleep by herself). We thought, it's about the time that she needs to learn those new routines. *Fingers Crossed*, hope by the end of summer, she'd be fully toilet trained and will sleep by herself (after read her some books).
Next year, I will have some changes in everybody daily routine. Since my boy will go to Pre-school, and I will take my daughter to kindy and do some other activities.
I can't wait to have my new routines. |

Yesterday my sister in-law who is a singer of Stereomantic, just launched her duo band first album. It's so funny to see her as celebrity. I hope her career will success.
The official website is still under-construction, but the band also has other sites:

Took this photo at the Christmas Parade. Seem like I didn't set up the speed on the camera, but anyhow I like the colors. |

Today is my son's end of school year at kindy. Next year he'll be at a big boy school as we told him it would (it's pre-primary, 5 days a week). Would be lots of changing on daily routines for everybody. I'd take my daughter to playgroup, and other activities that I used to do with my son. While my son will be full time at school. I'm still thinking that we did make a good decision on the age different between our children. So no one miss anything, they both have their own times....and their own memories.
School holiday means need more creativities for me as full time mum. 2 children will be in the house for 2 months. I'm sure I'll take them lot to swimming pool and park. On hot summer days, I probably take them to Scitech or just chill out in the house with some activities. We might take out some old toys (wooden thomas tracks)....and for sure go to library. Borrow those books.
Times fly so fast. Feel happy in one side and sad too. Happy cause my kids grow up and I have the feeling of accomplishment on certain stage of bringing up my children to their age stage. Sad....oh well...living those sweet happy little kids memories behind. But then I think again, I suppose those memories will stick to each individual who was there at that time. And those memories will be part of their foundation to grow up and building up their character as a person one day. I just hope my children will be a good grown up.
Oh well...that's what I thought today as part of the end of school year. A little break to upcoming another school year and another and another.......
Happy End of School Year......Merry Christmas....and Happy New Year to all! |

My week was pretty much busy. On the weekend, after our usual taking my son to his swimming lesson, we drove around to do some errand and ended up getting my son a desk from IKEA. After we came home, my husband put up the desk in his bedroom. My son was so excited and happy. He's 5 years old, and we said it's time for him to have a big boy desk to do his own thing...which one day would be his school stuff. The desk is pretty good. It's adjustable, mean he could use it for quite long time. So, we put up his drawing stuff on the desk, we put new desk lamp, we put his mini stereo on it and some of his favorite toys (the desk has 2 shelfs)...and his laptop. It's only one thing that my husband has to do, drill that magnetic white board against the wall which will fit perfectly behind this desk, so one day he could stick some notes on it.
On Sunday, after my husband woke up from his recovery sleep (he got this work related to this new daylight saving...he finished around 5am...old time...mean 6am new time). We had lunch at Nando's, and we drove around again to get our new BBQ...yes the old one was stuff so we need to get one for this summer. We didn't get what we were told to get, but at the end we got something pretty much good from Bunnings. Since it came in 3 big boxes and we pretty much tired, we ended up arranged it to get delivered to our place. Hopefully by tomorrow morning (as they scheduled it would be delivered) it will arrive. And whenever my husband ready to put it up.....we could get cookin' again....I could smell those barbie.
I'm going for my son's friend's birthday party, then might go for food shopping afterward. I'm hanging to cook for family tonight. Tomorrow, is my son kindy concert. Oh ho...this week is his last week at kindy. Next year, he'll be 5 days at pre-primary. Oh no....I'm getting old....hahahaha...I love it. I can't wait to go to his next school concert or play or anything. Something new to look forward.
New year is coming. I will be ready for brand new start with healthy and happy spirits. See what excitements will coming next year....... |

My husband and I went to Robbie Williams concert last night. We got in at about 6pm, we didn't know exactly where we would be sit or stand, since we bought the ticket throught Robbie's official website. So, we got there and we were on the field. Not right at the front, but also not right at the back. We thought it was awesome. We posted ourself near the sounds operators area. Mind you I had bad experience once in my life to get stuck in between crowd so I didn't want to happen again last night. So, we stood there we checked every sight that we would have a great view of the stage and the screens.
At 7pm, the opening band started. They were 'Sneaky Sound System'. I've never heard before. They were from Sydney, but they did sound great. But my heart was looking forward to see Robbie.
Finally at around 8pm (I didn't really see my watch)....He's rising up from the bottom of the stage (with that air lift thing). The crowds were screaming....all exciting. I didn't particular recognize his opening song, probably from very old album. Anyway, see everybody start moving their body...dancing....so did I. I took some fotos from my mobile phone just like everybody else. Even Robbie asked us to get ready with our mobile phone one stage. Awesome.
He such a great entertainer. He made jokes and talked to the crowd, he all over the stage. He even sang one song from his old day boy band 'Take That', the song was 'Back for Good'. He sang some songs from his swing album. Some couple songs from recent album (the songs was, 'Lovelight' and 'Rudebox').
I don't know whether he told the truth or not, but he said last night was great. Better than his first night concert. Instead of normaly 1 hour 45 minutes show, last night he did 2 hours 15 minutes. Excellent.
The stage was great as well, great lighting, great sound system.......We have a wonderful time. Specially since we are in Perth. Not many singer like him comes over here.
Last night was hell of a great experience.....even so my feet were sore from standing up like...5 hrs. Well done Robbie! |
