Make his own morning tea

by wildroseComment Published at 19:2619:263 comments3 comments116 Visits116 VisitsReport
CJ stayed home today. He's not feeling well. 5 minutes ago he asked me to make him morning tea, I offered some. He wanted a curried egg sandwich. He also asked whether he could peel the skin. So, I let him did it, then let him cut the egg before I mash and mix with curried powder and mayo. He also spreaded the egg onto the sandwich and cut them to 4 triangles. Oh boy, oh boy,...my boy is growing up and making his own morning tea...........Wonder when would he be able to make my full breakfast..????

Juggling with 2 kids, home, husband and yourself is really taking your times. I felt bad lately cause I didn't much time with my son. Luckily today, my girl had afternoon sleep. Instead I did my house works, I spent time with my son doing painting, lots of them.  I left behind my house works and did quality time with my son.

You can do it!

I love drawing for my son, but today I decided to stop drawing for him. I thought if I did things for him all the time, he won't learn to do it himself. So, instead I draw for him, I told him what he needs to do (such as draw straight line, curve, etc, etc). I also said to him that if I draw for him all the time, I'll get better but  he won't. Finally, he understood and kept excercising himself in drawing. Bare in mind, things that he wanted to draw such as dinosaurs, butterfly, aeroplane, etc. This morning, he draw his butterflies, caterpillars, aeroplanes and I taught him to draw dinosaur. I encourage him that it's not a big thing when he learn drawing the picture is not always look exactly the same like the object. I appraised him everytime he finished his drawing.
