My Favourite song right now is Jeff Buckley - last goodbye so i guess that qualifies because it makes me happy to listen to it :). I like the tune and the lyrics and a special friend put me onto Jeff Buckley it so when i hear it i think of good things :)

still home in isolation haha

thanks everyone for your well wishes for us! chloe seems to be alot better today her blisters have all scabbed over so thats a really good sign that shes getting over it, i will still keep her off school as long as the doctor specified to make sure shes all better

grandma and grandpa came to visit yesterday and grandma thinks SHE might start taking oat baths and going thru the chickepox skincare regime because everywhere the pox ARENT chloes skin looks terrific! haha the eczema is fine we are keeping up all our home remedies and a close eye on it and ive not had to use any steriod cream so far so YAY!

tobias is sick but no spots so it looks like we gave him the immunisation right on time! chloe has kindly names him "To-booger" or "To- snotface" due to the bad cold he has haha

my throat is killing me and sinuses are blocked so headaches and stuff but otherwise im really good! cooked lots yesterday getting ready for anzac day but we ate most of the bickies hehe and my head was a bit muddled so i messed up a spongecake and had to make another one!

this is chloes face today i think it looks alot better!

ive also managed to stay on my health kick mostly and lost 2.2 kilo since monday which is some of my easter chockies! haha so im stoked about that! plus ive gotten thru a mountain of cleaning and written an article on flying with kids and cooked heaps. maybe being stuck at home isnt so bad after all!

thats right we are poxed! i woke up this morning and got the kids ready for school, was about to do chloes hair and had a good look at her... hang on a closer lok... hang on....... POX! i checked her all over and it was really bad behind her ears with cracked skin and dry skin all over her forhead beggining to crack so off to the docs for us!

i gave chloe a bath in calomine and tea tree oil and then my friend judith picked us up and took us there (still L plates no way i was catching a bus) her kids are immunised but i still made chloe wear a headscarf over her mouth and nose and when i called the docs i booked in letting them know that we had suspected chickenpox so they made the appointment around other patients, we turned up and let them know we were there but because there was a wait still we waited in the car until the receptionist texted my phone.

looks like chloe has a really bad case due to her excema and cant use calomine lotion again or anything that will dry out her skin, the doc thought tea tree was a good idea but recomended that i use steriod cream for the excema which makes me sad because we havent needed to use it in years! she also recomended antihistamines.

seems the reason tobias has been so cranky the last few days is due to more than his teeth so he had his immunisation for chickenpox anyway seeing as the spots arent out in hope it will be a more mild case, ive been really unwell since sunday also and very tired so it looks like im on my FOURTH time having the chickenpox! yay me and my screwed up immune system lol

i went the chemist anyway and found a lotion similar to calomine that doesnt dry skin out which seems to be working well plus a spray bottle with tea tree and vitamin E which chloe seems to think works better ?

so i guess we are all home for awhile now! luckily ive had heaps of offers of help today so if i need anything i have plenty of ppl to drop stuff off

chloes been ordered to stay off school for at LEAST one week it could be more depending on how bad the excema gets and how mcuh she scratches so we will just have to wait and see... till then i have minti!

Well a new challenge is beginning for the girls in the Online Gym!

Ive found a lot of people have been requesting to join so this time I thought id put a blog up to let people know the rules before they ask.

each member is required to donate $5 to the group via HarrisonsMommy, this money goes to the winner and no money is kept by the group, (the more money donated the more the winner will receive)

each member MUST contribute at least once a week or they will be deleted from the group, we do this as a rule for all members of the group so we don’t have a group of spectators,( if a member has a good reason as to why they cannot participate we will of course not delete them)

each member MUST take a full length photo of themselves in a blog with their start weight and goals for the challenge.(so they can look back at the end and see how far they have come)

the group makes all decisions jointly if one person wants something in the group to change everyone else must be consulted first including the admin of the group.we are always happy to listen to suggestions, this is OUR group and we want everyone happy.

So with the heavy stuff out of the way now the next challenge will start TOMORROW!, Monday 20th April and first weigh in is on Friday so the group will close its doors for new members. the challenge will end the 20th of  July.

The prize will be a minimum of $50 to the person who has lost the biggest percentage of weight.

Our winner for our first challenge was NEETS! We also had a second prize for someone who we thought worked especially hard HarrisonsMommy!

The online gym is there to keep you on track in your goal for a healthier lifestyle, a lot of us do a daily report where we let each other know how our day has been and how and where we would like to do better, we support each other and gain support in turn from each and every member, im proud to say some lasting friendships have been made in this group and im sure anyone joining will have an equally positive experience.
