heya! been away on holidays had the bestest time! kids had a blast at the resort il tell u now if you are ever stayin on the gold coast with kids go to the paradise resort! its the bomb!

we did most of the theme parks and chloe LOVED IT, tobi was really good and let me drag him from pillar to post untill the 7th day when he spat it and i think just wanted to go home haha!me with tobi

he had a great time at white water world, that was really the only place that he had anything he could do haha i bought him a rip curl wetsuit/sunsuit rash vest thingo and he looked soooo cute in it!

seaworld are shitheads i went there twice the first time was only for 15 mins because they wouldnt hire me a stroller so i ahd to go buy one! grr tobi liked the sesame street show tho and started yelling at grover!

all the other mums and dads at the resort were awsum fun to be around when the kids went into the pajama party session of a night we wouldnt know what to do with ourselves! half of them just played with tobi while we drank cocktails in the spa haha

managed to catch up with one of my stepbros while i was there didnt have time to see the other one! we were flat out everyday!

we did 10 days in all b4 we came home and hurrah! we got to see tee on our way home! shes excactly the bloody same awsum chicky ive known for ages and i loved her to death, dammit i didnt wanna leave after seein her and the girls! katherine wanted to come home with me haha!  i woulda taken her if tee wasnt looking! shhh tho!

Hi there everyone......... I know long time no contact..... sorry but I still can't use Minti but I do check in from time to time to see how everyone is going. Thanks to all that have be leaving stuff in my lounge. I really appreciate... didn't even really think that me not being around would even be noticed. Wonders will never cease!!!!

A LOT has happened over the last little while..... currently jd is still here!!! I know... AMAZING!!!! Miss G's birthday is coming up on Saturday... my little on will be 8! I can't believe it.. where has the time gone?? I am no longer cleaning.. due to a whole heap of family stuff I am back working in the shop for the time being. Will be moving from this little patch of the world in around 2-3 months so think I can tolerate until then.

So maybe there are a few of you that are looking for the last instalment of the "minti love story" (somebody else called it that hehe). Well here goes.....

Feb 18th..... I was counting down the hours until I had to go to the airport to pick him up. I was a bundle of nerves mixed with anxiety, fear and sheer excitement. I was going at a million miles an hour all day. Really wanted to fit a nap in but there ended up being no time!!! Picked up Miss G from school who was most excited about spending the night at my friends place. We came home and packed up all her stuff, had shower dinner. By this stage it was only 6 hours until he arrived home. Took Miss G over to my friends house and then came home for some much needed time to myself. I wandered around the house in amazement that it was only hours until we would be together again. I tried to calm down but there was nothing I could do that would make me breathe haha. I finally zoned out in fornt of the telly for a bit. It was like I just shut down for a little while, ready for what was ahead of me. Finally dragged myself off the couch and hit the shower. Took FOREVER to get myself ready. I mean, it had been 3 months since we last saw each other. I wanted to be looking dam fine hehe!!! Paced the house a little more, checked myself time and time again. Then it started to pour with rain! I was facing about a 2 hour drive to the airport in the dark so I left earlier than anticipated. Besides, I was busting to get to the airport! Part way through my drive Amanda joined me on the phone. Bless you hunni.... you were there for me from the start and there for me to the end. So we drove together for what seemed like an eternity. Arrived at the airport with 40 minutes to kill. I told ya I was eager hehe!!! Walked across the car park and suddenly started to relax. I was going to be in those arms of his soon. Found my place to wait and that's what I did. Amanda and I were counting down the minutes. Then I looked up at the screen and his plane had landed. It took them forever to taxi from the runway. I stood just off to the side of the other people waiting to meet loved ones, business collegues etc. I watched families reunite, friends hug each other and lovers embrace. I stood there and watched all these strange faces kind of blur into one as they walked passed me. I looked away for just a moment and then as I looked back to the constant stream of people I saw him for the first time. He looked up and our eyes met. We both smiled, one of relief and excitement. He was only metres away from me. He walked up to me. a kiss on the cheek and then those arms were around me holding on so tightly to me. He was real again. I was safe. We walked off to get his baggage and his hand reached out for mine. As our fingers wrapped around each others he gripped tightly so no matter what I could not let go. As we walked off to the car he kept saying to me "it's you, it's really you!" We got into the car and began the long drive home. He kept poking me to make sure I was real, put his hand on my leg. I felt all the pain, hurt and tears from the last 3 months disappear the closer we go to home. We laughed, we talked and I fell in love all over again. As we turned into the driveway that feeling on completeness returned. That empty feeling was fast becoming a distant memory. I unlocked the front door, closed it behind him, he pulled me close to him, looked me deep in the eyes said "i love you and I really missed you" and then kissed me...................

The rest isn't really for a parenting site...... but I think we all know what the rest of the night entailed........... So there you have it.... there is a lot more to the story but looks like that will just have to wait.......

I miss you all and one day I will hopefulyl be able to use minti again..... thanks so much nat for posting this for me...... I love ya like a clean kitchen....

thing are pretty good on the home front.

N is spendin alot of time with tobi and hes doing sooo well it surprised me! hes going to canada this year so hes tryin to be with tobi as much as he can, he just broke his arm so hes got out of nappy duty....for now! haha

we argue about alot of crap but thats nothing new we always have! haah

he told his parents and they took it pretty well apparently i havent spoken to him much about it, im leaving him to make whatever choice hes going to.

YAY im going on holiday next week! im so excited! chloe and i have matching pink suitcases haah!

i went to the docs today about my face and i have staph and a blood infection! arrrgh! so gross!

im taking antiboitics and using a prescribed antibiotic for now, my antibodies protected tobi untill JUST now! he has one mark on his chest which is healing well so the doc said he might be sick for a few days but he will be fine. PHEW!

my face is a mass of scabs and scar tissue and its really depessing! but at least i know it will go away now, the doc was surprised it had cleared up as much as it did, i spose its because i went TOTALLY overboard with the teatree morning noon and night!

so right now my entire body is covered under the skin with bumps and it itches like hell! even my scalp itches!

i apparently got it from a boil i had soon after i had tobi. it was really big and turned black and only last week did it start to heal.the staph was prob in that infection and i scratched it and got a pimple on my face and scratched that and it spread from there! ive never had pimples b4 and i suddenly have acne!

other than that im good!
