ok just wanted to write about this as im hormonal and kinda weird today! heeh like thats unusual!
anyhoooo myer burnt down here and ive been all excited bout the street sale they were having as the fire damage sales from all down that street ahve been cheap cheap cheap and i thought i could pick up sum great bargins for chloe and bubs and do sum chrissie shopping (most of the stuff in the sale is from warehouses dont worry wasnt givin out burnt barbie dolls this year!) anyway!
pissed off! they have cancelled the street sale! nooooooooo ok this is bad for me but entirely NOT the worst part!

i have a friend who works at the dump, they have hired guards and dumped everything there! the guards are on 24 hours and everything is being destroyed, the press relese said everything was far too damaged to be sold this just isnt the case! there are toys in boxes being buried underground clothes whitegoods everything!
i thought we had a keep aus green thing happening? doesnt seem so if they cant sell it for whatever reason cant they at least donate the toys to charity?
im sure they could get volunteers to take the toys out of water damaged boxes! id help myself if it was going to needy kids! and u cant tell me a water damaged cot in a box isnt going to be of use to someone!
i just find the whole thing incredibly wastefull! in a world where we recyle our cans and milk bottles an millions of dollars worth of stock is being buried in our tips!

ok thats my vent hehe

That's disgusting.  There are kids starving, families who can't provide enough clothing for their kids, young ones who go without christmas presents because they're poor, and this happens.  No wonder you're mad, I am too and it's not from being pregnant cause i ain't preggers it's cause of stupidity like this.  I heard about myer burning down and the sales that were meant to happen from it but didn't hear about this yet and it's got my blood boiling!!!

That is disgusting and i used to work for a guy that used to clean up fires and floods and know that they could have salvaged some to re sell at a discount price..So i reckon its a insurance reason and they get more money be throwing stuff out..  So i reckon in a week even that they say they have buried it, the tip shop guys will salvage it, as i see how they are when we chuck things here.. As these stores work in mysterious ways......''

take care
love cazza
