HI Fi,I like that one,be happy with what we have got.That is what i tell my children they might not have the latest fashion of things or the newest toys and gadgets but they have abundance of love.Some parents are too busy with life and work to spend special times with their children and have to buy them all the best to make up for it.Love don't cost a cent .I hope you had a good weekend.

so true growing up i used to hear the saying"keeping up with the joneses" i also had heard "its noy easy keeping up with the joneses"

i kept by the second motto  we keep up with ourselves.

a lot of hard work "blood sweat and tears" have gone into what we have including our holiday house. i cringe when people say how "lucky we are " to have our holiday house.  my husband and i both worked hard to buy it and pay for it.

we thought twice whether we needed to buy something not that we did without but we find when we have a mortgage we are better off. otherwise we dont think twice purchasing something that only clutters thehouse or isnt needed.

yes there will be others more slimmer more fatter more uglier and more pretty

its a shame that society has put so much pressure on women to be "perfect"

i only recently read a comment about men on the building site "whistling" to  a female only to overhear one say she is pretty but has a big ar@#  which led her to her insecurities taking over and led to tragic circumstances

this "pretty lady" was above average had the world at her feet and was a successful newsreader . i live in a different state i didnt even know her as a newsreader but she was described as a lovely person

if only everyone could live by that particular one that you have said  "so let it go and love your circumstances"

then we would feel "like a million dollars"

I used to introduce myself to anyone that looked a bit down by saying this with a big smile: "You know how they say that no mater how bad things get in life there's always someone worse off than you? Hi! I'm that person!" I'm yet to see anyone not crack at least a little bit of a grin at having a chirpy happy person say that as an obvious joke.

Yay!  That's how I live my life, and while my family is considered to be financially disadvantaged, I consider us to be the richest people alive because of the love we have for ourselves and each other.

Love and respect do start with loving and respecting ourselves!
