| My family |
Myself and my husband met 14 years ago when I was at school. We were married 7 years ago. We have 2 children, the eldest 4 years and the youngest will be 3 in February. They can both be a handful. Like father like son. The one thing we have learnt by having children, is that no matter what a pain in the you know what, they can be. You wouldn't give them up for the world. They make you laugh, they make you cry, they make you smile and feel angry. They create emotions in you, that you never knew you had. We enjoy our time together. Camping is always fun, but I most enjoy trips to Queensland. We get to see Ricks family (which is a rare occasion) and we get to go places and see things that we haven't seen before. The weather is almost always warm there too!!
My life revolves around Cars. My husband runs his own business repairing and customizing dash boards, and car interiors. My boys are into cars and motorbikes. Watching the car racing is not an unusual occurance.
I was born in the UK but have lived in Australia since I was about 6 years old. My husband is from New Zealand but has lived here since he was about 16. Not long before I met him.
We are a happy family, and that is important |

School holidays are here. It has been a very busy week and now I have to distract the boys enough so that I don't have 2 weeks of fighting to deal with. Sebastian had a great birthday. He earnt a Silver award at school, got writer of the week and won flowers and a birthday cake from the local radio station. All on his actual birthday. It was fantastic. It's hard to believe he is now 6 and that the school year is almost over. Only one term to go. Cayden starts school next year. He has orientation in 5-6 weeks. It is going to absolutely fly. What will I do with my self next year. Well let me see - clean a house with out being told to turn off the vacuum cleaner as "mum we can't hear the television". What bliss!! I think I will miss them though. I may even feel a bit lonely. Exactly why I am hoping to study. Keep my mind busy. |

Wow! I can't believe how often I don't come in here and visit the site. I guess we have had a few too many computer problems for me to even think about it. Anyway a few weeks ago we went to a friends birthday party. The kids were all playing together and the adults hanging out around the bomfire. Lovely!! I went to look for my eldest son (5) who had walked away from the other children when sparklers were bought out. (he doesn't like them). I walk around the corner and there he is riding his friends 2 wheel bike. He's hardly ever been on a bike before as we don't have a lot of room where we live. I couldn't believe it. We had just bought him a bike so off came the training wheels. Within 2 weeks my 4 year old son also had his training wheels removed. He is still a bit shaky but no worries. It makes me wonder why we do training wheels at all, I swear with boys this sort of thing must come naturally. I get this comment from my 4 year old if he does ever come off his bike (or anything else for that matter) "I'm OK" and he's off again. Amazing!! |

How time can fly. We have moved, my husband started a new job and closed his business down, and I am looking into what I think is something wonderful. Tea!! My 2 boys are growing up fast. I have to look at registering my son with the local school soon, as he will start school next year. It is amazing. I am still undecided if I will put my youngest in the year after, or leave it for another couple of years. It is hard to give them up. Will say more later as they have just come in. |

Did the christmas break go fast or what?!! Our holiday to Queensland has been and gone. We got back on NY eve after a long journey in the car, and I ended up falling asleep for New Years. Queensland was beautiful one day, raining the next - but we still managed to have a really good time. The boys you could not knock them. They travelled so well, it was amazing. Lets hope they do that well all the time. 11 hours in a car and hardly a quarrel. |
