I was just wondering how early a pregnancy test can be done before a period is due and still get an accurate positive result because I am feeling pregnant at the moment and I am so sick of waiting

to go past my due date. my period is due next week but sometimes I get it earlier or later. hoping someone can help

My Advice:
hi, you can do a pregnancy test early but the possibility of it coming up positive isnt very high as you could only be a few days along. they say to do it the day that your due. but then again you could be like me and get your period for the first month even though you are pregnant. if you are going to do one do it in the morning when you first go to the toilet, as the hormone levels are stronger as they havent been released out of your system while you sleep. my advice is go see your doctor and get a blood test. they are more accurate and usually show up within the first few days. hope this helps you a bit. hopefully all goes well for you and i hope you get the result you are after.
