What can i do to help for kinder ...Part 2

Amerlinwinga by Amerlinwinga Talking(October 2008) (rank 122nd)

We can dolots to encourage our children to learn and they can be very easy and painless... Encourage their curiosity about the things around us and the world that we live in. While going for walks point thing out and ask them what they are and let them have a

go first before you correct them or give them the answer.

If you see a nest in a tree ask them if they know what it is and then explain what happen with the nest and hoe it was made ect... and if your not sure then you are better off not telling them until you are sure yourself. lol...many parents get caught out by these things sometimes.

This type of dialogue with your children will build up and stimulate your childs curiosity, in turn these will encourage your shild to ask question and this is one good way to get them ready for kinder and school.

Reading to your children is a very important part of the development and getting ready forkinder and school! They learns from what you are reading to them and let them use and they will use there imagination. Alot of mother started ready to their babys in utero.

Ask them to describe the pictures in the book you are about to read and after reading the book ask them again and youll get a very different story lol.

Let them change the pages in the book so this encourages them more.Find out what type of stories they enjoy and keep ready its healthy for them as well as us.

Thanks

Greta ideas, you can also buy some activity books with dot 2 dots and colour by numbers to help them learn to count.
