soother savers on chains

racechick23 by racechick23 Speaking(November 2008) (rank 232nd)

we all know about those things called soother savers. theres different one, some come on a ribbon others on a plastic chain.

avoid the plastic chain ones.  i brought my son one as he kept dropping his dummy , this morning i attached the chain to him as i

was goin out i  went outside to do something and when i came back inside my son had broken the chain off the clip and had swallowed it and was choking.  lucky my dad got to him before any damage was done and my son is alright but it was a huge scare for me.  now his dummy is attached to a ribbon and made so he cant swallow it.

im goin to find out the company who made it and warn about the this happening again to another baby.

so let this be a warning to all mother who have brought or are goin to buy the plastic chained dummy savers.

Re: soother savers on chains

I have never heard anything like this. Thank you for sharing your story! Is it possible for you to search for a picture online and post it on your article so that people would know exactly what you're talking about? I myself have used a fabric one with a clip on the end.  Please remember to cite your source for the photo though - just putting a link of where you got the picture is more than enough for this.

Thanks again!
