Re: Baby Names
Asked by pagan-mum-of-three

Question:

Anyone got any ideas on unusual baby names?

I have a Hayley, Natalie & Jacob.... Need another name! Hopefully something that will 'match' but isn't too common.

So far I have Maddison for

a girl, but are stuck for boys!!!

My Advice:
Baby names are so hard to pick and both parents must agree.  Watch out for nick names letters that spell nasty words or names that are not nice.  Use the web and look for unusall names Google baby names their are heaps of sites.   Some people choose a name forgeting their own too many ie g in family whos the mail for??? Greg or Gretel?  Good luck have fun and welcome the newest member of your family into the world. Watch out world her I come.

Re: Baby names.

I have 3 Children we went over names many times  for our first we ended up calling him Cordel James now he is 12yrs he likes to be called Del. With my girls, my 5yr old is Seleana Jane, she loves her name its the only word she can spell, so if its spelt wrong you hear about it and our 3yr old is Amia Jasmin, ask her, her name she replys Me ya.   Don't stress over the name let the other kids choose or when the babies born, once you look at it, you'll know the name. Cordel named Seleana, he suggested the name we both liked it. With Amia we were going to call her Mia, Seleana was 18mths, when ask about the baby she would always say Amia so after hearing it so much it grow on us and now I'm please we called her Amia.  Good Luck.

Re: Baby names.

when i found out i was pregnant, i had a name Zach (after my dad who passed away)-Rion (last 4 letters of mom's name), not taking into account that Zach could end up being a girl!hahaha. a while later we found out that we are having twins, then i decided on the names Jayden (God heard) and Jordan (to flow/descent), as they were unisex names. evetually, when i gave birth, it was identical twin girls and hubby saw 2 names in a baby name book, Xena (welcome/hospitable) and Xenia (hospitality). they are now name Xena Jordan and Xenia Jayden. today i am more than happy. you hear the name Zena, but not Xena in our area and i've never heard of a baby called Xenia in our area. they are unique and suits them. so i guess its true, you'll know the moment you hold that little 1 in your hand

i had blade picked out for my son but my hub didnt like it. so we decided on damien with blade in the middle.  i didnt want a name that was gonna get him picked on. try names that cant be shortened also see if  your last name wont effect it.  if your still stuck grab the family tree and find one from there
