When my son was bout 2 months old he got his first stint of conjuctivitis

I tried a few creams and the conjuctivitis would go away and then come back a few days later

I asked my mother ifshe knew of any home remedies

She told me

that the best cure for conjuctivitis was breast milk

I expressd a small amount into a cup, didpped my finger in and wiped it across his eye

I repeated this a few times and left the breast milk on his eye

Need i say the conjuctivitis never came back

:)

If you are not comfortable with this or are no longer lactating, a wet tea bag wiped across the eye will also work well
