car games for older kids 2

JadieLady by JadieLady Young Parent(August 2006) (rank 30th)

This game was taught to me by my cousin (and i havent thanked her enough for it!)

its called incognito.

Basically its like eye spy. crossed with celebrity heads and 20 questions.

however is 'it' gets to chose a celbrity- the mystery person who is incognito.

They then give the other palyers a clue about this person, using the first intial of their first and last name. ie

Terrific Electrician. (Thomas Edison) each player gets a turn at guessing and if noone has guessed on the second round everyone is allowed to as k one yes/no question before they guess.

i found this game is good for sulky teenagers, or long drives. it also helps develop descriptive words instead of swear words!

Can anyone think of any other incognito clues?

Thanks. a lot of my brothers have learning disabilities, so we always looked out for games that would stimulate their mind instead of just their eyes like the tv. You end up with a few favourites, and most of the time they dont relise they are learning, or what they are doing is good for them1! :) I love educational games =)

Fantastic
I am making up an activity pack for my single Mum girl friend who's moving away......................I figure the one extra thing she wouldn't mind packing might be something to keep her girls happy, occupied and getting along.

Keep up the great suggestions, I really like this one Jade
