dealing with your friends snubbing you because your pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had friends come and friends go over the years.   It's when we're going through a challenging time, like pregnancy, that we do find out who our true friends are.

I'm now much older and wiser and absolutely CHERISH the few besties I do have.  These gals have been with me through thick and thin (waists that is teehee) and are still here with me today.

I think that's the best part of whittling away the ones that don't really matter.   You get to really appreciate the good ones.

I think that when we are sick, pregnant or going through some major changes in life it is easy to feel abandoned by your friends.  Often it is our own lack of communication that causes this to happen.  Sure you can't go out partying and all of that, however if that is all you used to do with your friends, it wasn't much of a friendship anyway.

Think of the things you can do, lunches, brunches, dinner parties, movies, shopping, light excercise etc.  Make an effort to have your friends involved in your pregnancy and share your joy, don't expect them to know or understand how you feel unless you tell them.

I think some do snub, but I think most just have no idea what it's like. You're once free to do as you please and now that you're pregnant, friends just don't know what to do. The change that happens is equivalent to being in a different planet almost. They don't know what you feel and they don't know how to relate.
