Advice versus Embarrassment

soozntone by soozntone Standing(November 2008) (rank 500+)

Does this remind you of yourself ??

You know something..  You know you do !!! But you don't want to write a piece of Advice about it because it's embarrassing..

For the sake of the rest of us.  Write it.

As parents and as human beings

we all have a lot still to learn.  One of the best ways to learn it is through shared experiences.  I recently wrote my first piece of advice on an issue I am currentlly experiencing even though it was somewhat embarrassing to me.  I wrote it because finding information about my issue was quite difficult, and by sharing my investigations I may help someone else experiencing the same problem.

Here's hoping for more advice about the stuff we would really rather not talk about..

:D

Re: Advice versus Embarrassment

When I first wrote advice I was surprised that it was even read and people even gave it high votes. You also learn a bit yourself with the research and it's exciting every time you get a new comment. It's a good way of getting to know other members by adding to comments.

Re: Advice versus Embarrassment

The more something is spoken about, then the less embarrassing it becomes. Great idea!

Aww, you're so right..
There would be other people out there, who feel the same embarrassment as you, but would love the fact that you are able to share your story :)

I know how you feel..
Both my advice articles have been really personal pieces, but it made me feel better knowing that I was writing them to help others :)

Thank you for sharing your last advice article, you're an inspiration :)
And thank you for writing this one too :)

Love Thuy xoxoxox
