MAKE FOOD FUN-FUSSY EATERS

NBishop by NBishop In Nappies(November 30th) (rank 500+)

I Struggle to make food fun: One of my sons eats everything the other one is fussy and it needs to look nice and smell right and not be too much on the plate or he just cannot cope. I found out that children should only have a desertspoonful or

tablespoon full per year of age ie 6years only about 6 spoons of food. This helped a LOT because he would then be able to cope with looking at the meal and eating it.

IDEAS

Fruit Kebabs - Fruit cut up onto sticks different colours

Vegie sticks - Different coloured vegies and a philly chees dip

Sandwiches - cut into triangles or bite sizes or using cookie cutters into shapes

Weekly Meal Calendar - I get them to put something on the list for tea so I know they will be choosing something and see what else is on there so it is not a big deal when we eat it. I let them know it may be in a different order so they dont get that too organised cant cope with change prob.

School - I am stuck. I need ideas they had noodles but now thats not safe, they liked canned tuna but now thats no good, sandwiches are boring, I can get them to have fruit salad if I make it but what else??? Any Ideas are welcome. I would prefer some things that can be frozen and are savory as of course they will eat anything sweet.
