A couple of years ago I found that my  kids were bored with sitting down and reading a book half the time and one of my children was having alot of trouble with reading and writting so I decided to make it  more exciting for them,I  bought some magnetic

  alphabet and word cards to put on my fridge and freezer,instantly my kids where drawn to them,they spent alot of time making word and sentences  (some things didn't make sense) but I knew what they were trying to make,so I talked to the kids and told them if they go to the fridge or freezer to get a drink or ice block or something to eat that they had to make a word or sentence before they opened the door,I couldn't beleive how well this worked,my children now read well one still has a little trouble but he is alot better than before
