my friend just gave me the best idea for babies first xmas. besides the normal stuff like toys and clothes she suggested buying a stocking that says baby's first xmas or just one with the date on it and put in stuff like, baby wash, wipes, lotion, shampoo etc.  even

a few bath toys if u want.

 iv done up one for my son (who will be 8 months by then,) with a few bath toys, a new swim suit, normal toys, massage lotion, some new face clothes. 

can be done as a present for a friend or family. 

so i hope this helps some mothers who are stuck like i was.
