If you and your child enjoy reading and an event arises such as Dentist visits, Doctors visits, hospital visits etc... There are some brilliant childrens story books on the market that are written in a way that children understand.

You also have to remember that children get frightened easily

and feel daunted when something they dont know or understand arises...books help with many different things. I used to be frightened of the doctors etc  and i had these types of books when i was young, they helped me alot to understand many things..

They will learn what happens in these situations and they will learn new words!! It is also brilliant for language development and role playing whilst in care or in other situations with other children.
