love being pregnant but it making me depressed cause im in so much pain and with a 2 year old who i snapped at earlier its not good i cant wait to meet my son and have this over with

does anyone no any effective and safe ways to bring on labour i dont want to force him out i just want to give him a gentle nudge any ideas ive tried sex, rosemary tea, nipple simulation eating spicy foods going for walks but the more i do i just get tired and more painful help!!

My Advice:

HI

There are trigger points that bring on labour, I have used them personally myself and I use them on my pregnant clients ( I am a remedial Massage Therapist)

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS BEST WHEN YOU ARE FULL TERM!!! ALSO THIS IS AN AIDE IN INDUCING LABOUR IF YOUR LITTLE ONE DOESNT WANT TO COME HE/SHE WONT COME.

point 1) massage the fleshy web between your thumb and hand (both sides)

Point 2) sit with your knee bent and feel your knee in the outside of your knee there is the top of your shin bone go down 4 finger spaces from just under that boney point and press/ massage there it will feel tender.

Point 3) look at the inner side of your foot directly below your ankle bone it would be swollen with your thumb on that point and your fingers directly across on the other side of the foot massage both sides.

There are more points but these are the main ones that one can do on their own.

You massage them as long as you can, when you feel twinges get up and walk around this encourages labour.

Re: re bringing on labour some trigger points

I've been advised (when the time comes) to go for reflexology at 38/39 weeks ( should go into labour within one week) and take raspberry tea leaf capsules for a quicker labour. Both natural and can't hurt mum or baby so worth a try (and worked for someone I know)
