shopping with a toddler

happysmile by happysmile Standing(January 2009) (rank 500+)

before i go out shopping with my son who is three, we make a personal shopping list just for him and he has to find the items when we go shopping. He has so much fun finding apples and cpunting how many he needs. its great because he gets to

learn about foods and counting why'll having fun. Before i started doing this i used to dreed going to the shops with him but now we both love to go and its not a struggle at all. it dose take alittle longer but its well worth it.

Re: shopping with a toddler

This is a great idea. Maybe you should also teach him the alphabet also at the supermarket like on big letters, and if the isle's have numbers, teach the numbers also.
