Breastfeeding mums

nataliemilligan by nataliemilligan In Nappies(February 2009) (rank 500+)

Hi, I like to advise any mums who breastfeed that their babies who have sticky eyes can easily be fixed by putting a couple of drops of breastmilk into the infected eye and it will heal it perfectly as the breastmilk has wonderful healing properties.cheers.Natalie

Re: Breastfeeding mums

It worked for my son (and myself when i was desperate one night) but the way you have written it isnt very good. Next time try to expand on what breastmilk can be used for (eg. on nappy rash) and maybe make the layout better.

Nice start to an article.  You could expand and suggest other things that breastmilk is helpful for too and maybe go into why the breastmilk is effective- the healing properties and anti bodies etc.

However, it is always important to seek professional medical advice if the infection shows no signs of clearing up after 3 days or the infection becomes a regular issue.
