Re: Daughter got knocked down by dog
Asked by ReannaBexleiyroseSummerKiarah
Question:
Hey all, NEED your help, Was just at my 6yr old daughters friends house as they were having a play. Its a pretty much feral environment-her daughter runs a muck-picks up
her 7month old brother-drags hin-hurts him-constantly lies and blames my daughter for things she doesnt do and i always see this girl do the things and my daughter always gets the blame. My daughter turns feral around her, always is upset etc., K to the main point, they have a large dog-german shepard ment to be a pup but is size of grown dog, it goes totally physco around the kids crawls over her 7month old, licks and jumps and sits on him. This the problem, my other daughter is 3, and in the backyard, her dog, jumped up and knocked my daughter down, stomped on her face (i totally freaked)and licked her i couldnt get it off her...finally did, it then knocks her down again (me furious by now) the owner(boots and wacks the dog and yells at it) my 3yr old isnt bitten, but her face is red, like sunburnt (cause shes very fair) from the dog, and what i've just noticed is that her left eye(where her temple is there is now a blue lump. Should i be worried and take her to hospital, or presume its just a bruise...I'm thinking hospital option. Shes fine in herself, still playing, is quite a bit whingy, red face still and lump.help
My Advice:
I think that the first thing that I would say is don't go to the girls house again. It sounds like a mad house. And if the dogs are allowed to run amuck then that is dangerous. If the dog runs loose then it should be chained up. Try obedience school. At least suggest it to the owners. As far as your daughter that got mauled then, yes I would take her to the doctor.Yyou don't want to let that go. It could be nothing or maybe it is but for your own peace of mind I would take her. I would definately have a talk with the girls mother. Tell her what happened and that you want assurances that she will keep the dog on a chain if he is outside. Good luck.
