teething treat

BebeBuzz by BebeBuzz Speaking(August 2006) (rank 500+)
a friend of mine recently told me about a fabulous thing she does for her teething toddler.  She cuts up fruit into small chunks and puts them in a freezer bag (in the freezer).  If her daughter is uncomfortable or if it's just really hot out it makes a great
treat.  I tried it with my daughter and she LOVED it. Bananas, peaches, berries and pineapple seem to work really well and are her favorites!  I would not recommend this treat for babies under the age of one.

alternative
for the mums out there without the time ( i am one of them) to do this you can buy a product from the supermarket called splurtz- mini frozen pureed fruits. basically a nice alternative to ice blocks ( found in the same aisle as ice blocks and tinned fuit usually) and are great for teething. much healthier than ice blocks!
