I used to have some kittens at home and I did like them very much but when I fell pregnant I decided to get rid of them. It was very hard for me but I had to do it for my baby's sake. I heard and read a lot about

kittens and having them during pregnancy might cause miscarriage. Furthermore, their fur carries lots of germs, fleas and their litter boxes have a huge number of germs even if they had all their vaccinations.

I actually gave them away to a friend and still regret doing that but at the same time I feel happy because I protected my baby from having different diseases and allergies. I decided not to have kittens any more casue I don't want to experience what happened with me again when I fall pregnant next time.

I know that many people wouldn't agree with me because they can't live without having pets around but we should think deeply about our kids as they have the first priority in our lives.
