Nappy rash treatment |

Nappy rash is so common and nearly every baby will get it!
Here are some helpful tips I found useful:
- change your babies nappies frequently through the day.
- change you babies nappy before you put them down for a sleep.
- use zinc base creams, paw paw creams are also quite good for treating nappy rash.
- some other things you can do when your baby is awake, is to leave your baby without a nappy and popping a cloth, or absorbent towel underneath them giving them some nappy free time.
- when applying the cream make sure your babies bottom is dry, apply a thick layer of cream to the bottom.
- be aware of the types of wipes you use, some wipes are very high in perfumes and alcohol and they can irritate the skin as well.
- if you notice that your babies skin is red and irritated switch wipes to a face washer with warm water and a drop of olive oil in your water, this can help keep the area nice and clean.
I hope these tips help...
