Hi,

just incase ne1 is interested

the best thing to get rid of cradle cap is breast milk

just put a little milk on at each feed and massage in, do this for 2 days and voila, all gone!!

Re: Cradle Cap

Cradle cap can also be indicative of cows milk protein allergy.  Oil and the like may soften the crusts and help remove them but it doesn't get rid of the underlying issue.  the cradle cap can continue to reoccur.  My children developed cradle cap after 1yr (when I finished nursing), and tried them on "normal" milk.  Once we replaced the cows milk with rice milk, the cradle cap went away.  We did a test about 3mths later - introduced cows milk and the cradle cap returned. took the cows milk out & it went away again.

ok, this might sound a little weird, ok so u dont breast feed dosnt mean that u cant benefit from others who do(not use someone elses but)>>>> go out and buy some nipple cream (manuka honey nipple balm is the best) and try this, i have used it on face scratches that my daughter gives to herself with her sharp lil clawsis, and also on a huge blister that she had on her mouth and it seems to work really fast to heal.. its really thick and sticky though so u may have to dab it on a dew times a day then stick a little hat on bubs head so it dont go everywhere..

hope it works for u

I would use Bi-Card of Soda. Mix into a paste and rub onto babies head. Using a very soft toothbrush or Baby's hairbrush. let sit for a couple of minutes and then rinse off ,for the final rinse use a  little bit of vinegar mixed with water. This keeps the cradle cap at bay and can be done several times a week. It is very old fashioned and I used for my 4 children who have all grown up now I found it inexpensive and best of all it worked!!

Good Luck

Vaseline is another good product for erradicating cradle cap. Smear liberally over the head and leave preferably over night or for a few hours, then wipe of with a warm face washer.

Hope this helps you as it did for me

xx

Breastmilk

I use a squirt of breastmilk in the eye to cure eye infections.  Or you could use a pee diaper(just pee) for cure of eye infections.

We wonder why they say Breast is the best!!!!!

Thanks for the info!! So good to know

Cradle Cap

With cradle cap i apply oil (olive, vegetable) to my childrens heads before bed and leave it.  Then in the morning wash their hair, use a  fine comb to remove. It clears straight away and leaves their head clean. Occassionally i need to do it 2 nights in a row.

Cradle Cap
i am the biggest fan of alive ooil for cradle cap erradication... put on an hour or two before bathtim (or ovrenight if its a bad case) and gently wash out with shampoo. if some of it is still stuck on just use a face washer and it should all come right off.
