Minti Basics - Posting a Video from YouTube |

One of the fun ways of embellishing your Blogs, comments and other posts in Minti is to add a video clip from YouTube. This can be one of your own or your favourite song or anything you think will add to the atmosphere on Minti!
The way to add
a video from YouTube onto Minti is to select the YouTube Icon (Insert/Edit YouTube) that is on the far right of the row of icons above the content you are typing (or you may find it hiding on the second row next to the Smiley icon).
But first, select your video on YouTube video.
- Just below the video screen are a row of buttons. Select the one entitled SHARE.
- A new section opens below these buttons. Select from these new options EMBED.
- Now a section opens up with a lot of code in it which is probably highlighted (if it isn't, highlight it all).
- Below this are some more options with boxes next to them. Make sure the box titled USE OLD EMBED CODE is ticked/checked, as Minti has a problem loading anything else.
- Now you can safely copy the highlighted code.
Now, go into Minti, to the place you want to use this video, and click on the YouTube Icon. A box will open with a title HTML Snippet. Paste your copied YouTube code here and click on OK. All you will see on the preview is a white square and a red Flash icon, but don't panic! When you click on Save or Add Comment to post your comment or blog, it should magically appear.
Hope that helps you to enjoy Minti even more!
