Just a Suggestion For Stretch Marks!!

proud-mommy by proud-mommy Talking Back(September 2006) (rank 75th)
Just a suggestion!!!! Use Palmers Coco butter for stretch marks.. For any of you who have seen my pregnancy pictures, my stretch marks were pretty much blood red. it looked like i had HUGE DEEP scratches up and down my tummy, and looks soo horrible. If you havent seen my pix
maybe you would wanna go take a look. But anyways, I have been using this Palmers Coco butter for about 3 days, and WOW what a difference i have noticed already. I use it 2 times a day, and use about 3-5 squirts each time. And guess what my stretch marks are NOT as deep any more, and they are fading!!!! I was using regular coco butter, but let me tell you it doeS NOT work nearly as well as this lotion. i mean think about it, im a very impatient girl, and for me to like something, and take the time to write about it.. its gotta be good.. so please take my advice, use it in early pregnancy to reduce the risk of getting stretch mark, use it through out your pregnancy, or if your further along like i was before being recommended it, start using it!!  Its amazing, and ive never seen anything work like it at all!!!!

Good idea
I will have to get my daughters to try it on their breast because they have a lot of stretch marks and it really bugs them. I always tell them it will go away but still. They have more breast then i have today and they are only 12 and 14. What is also good for preventing stretch marks when pregnat is almond oil. 100% almond oil. I did it morning and night when pregnat and i only have one stretch mark with two pregnancy. It really works. It is good to prevent and believe me i had a big belly. Try it. Can i get that coco cream in canada,? Thanks for advice.

Soft-E-Lotion

After I found out I was pregnant with my first son, I emailed the Soft-E-Care company to ask some questions about the Soft-E-Lotion and the customer service rep gave me a coupon code for 15% off my order to help out as I am on a budget. He said the code would never expire. Thought I would share it here as I got mine after reading the posts here and like the way it feels.

The 15% off code was: softe

Bio oil
Is made of a substance like what ducks use to water repellant themselves, except its chemically engineered. it can fully remove scars, stretch marks the lot.  I used it from the middle of my second trimester and I didn't see a single stretch mark until 7 months. Can be a bit expensive, but its worth it.

I used it!
I put it on like 5-6 times a day and it never helped me! I only wish it did, glad it worked for you though.

i'm lucky
i'm not sure if theres anything you can really do to avoid  strech marks i think its just a personal skin thing as i've seen large and small people get them, i'm pregnant with my sixth and i 've never gotton a single one which i think is just due to my skin type or something, i have been fortunate, i use to think it was just something larger people got till a couple of my friends got pregnant who are tiny and didn't get real big and they got them all over so i don't think that any amount of creams could possibly help, i think the only way to minimise the affects is to make sure you don't put on weight o rapidly apparantly that has alot to do with getting strech marks, so don't over eat and pile on the kilos to quickly

Stretch marks appear when the skin on the inside stretches faster than the skin on the outside.

Stretch Marks
I used olive oil for the 3 of my pregnancy's and I have not one stretch mark, but I used the coco butter on my caesarean scar and that is nearly invisible.

use during pregnancy

I used the cocoa butter throughout my entire pregnancy and did not get one stretch mark.  Also I used the Lansinoh cream on my nipples to prevent breakage and it helped when I delivered and started nursing.  Good luck to you!
