Thank you New York Times! I read about two sites a few months ago in the Times Travel Section that have turned out to be fantastic for planning trips. The first is Gocitykids.com, which is sort of an activity finding tool for major cities. Great if you're taking a
short getaway in a city like Boston or NYC or Seattle. This, I imagine, would also be useful for people who lived in these cities. The other site is
Wejustgotback.com, which is more of an all-around site for great travel advice, reviews of kid-friendly hotels, lots of tips from readers, listings of good travel deals and specials, that kind of thing. My family just got back from a trip to Cape Cod,. Before we went, I looked for advice from a lot of different places (books, other sites, tourist offices) and the best stuff came from Wejustgotback.com. The difference is that every piece of advice and every review is written for parents, so kids are always the main focus. You can even search the site by your kids' ages. Smart site.
