Chronic cough: Sick, asthma or allergies?

pfallerj by pfallerj Proud Parent(September 2006) (rank 12th)

Today's first time parenting tip - If your kid is a chronic cougher, take him in to get diagnosed

Even if your son has no fever, no other symptoms than a nagging cough, you should get him checked out for asthma and for allergies. Even if they don't wheeze,

a constant cough could be a sign of ashtma, something you want to be prepared for. You don't want to be finding out your baby has this condition when he's having his first attack and you don't know what to do.

cough
i suffered from acute asthma growing up however there was never ne lead up to an attack the only clue was that i couldn't blow as high on the peak flow metre ( thay refered to this as silent asthma). So pay attention to the tiniest detail it could be a sign of asthma.

Cough
Thanks, my daughter has had a cough for a while. Like not everyday she's coughing. So I am going to get it checked out to make sure. I just hope that the doctor don't say it's nothing to worry about.
