children know best

wertynt by wertynt Speaking(September 2006) (rank 500+)
i have learnt that when you want to correct a child, you will always have an argument on your hand if you tell them they are wrong.  i have found with my children the best way is to put your point or view across, if they disagree, then you say,
" ok i am wrong and you are right", basic reverse psycology, they will almost always agree with your first point after this. it is much easier than have an argument of yes and no's.

Good point
How true that they never get sick of the yes and no  argument.  Just for fun when we are not having a heated argument , When they say no, I say yes a couple of times, than I say no, and than they wont want to repeat the word you said so they end up agreeing by saying yes. It is so funny when they realized what they said and than they look at you and say ''How did you do that'' LOL  I reply it's parent' magic.
