Being read to is an extremely important part of a child's life. Children should be read good books every day -- preferably good books read by people who love the children -- and who love reading to them.
My advice if you are looking for great children's
books (and are having a tough time finding them, because the big box stores are full of dime-a-dozen movie-themed books) is to check out the "
Just One More Book!!" podcast and its website.
The "Just One More Book!" podcast is a thrice-weekly audio on demand broadcast in which we provide advice on choosing children's books.
Episodes range in length from 5 to 12 minutes and can be played directly from our web page or downloaded to an ipod for listening on the go.
