Showing you care

I was thinking back to my childhood and there is one thing sticks out that I remember.  One thing that reminded me my mom cared and loved me.  My mom wasn't a emotional person.  She would tell us she loves us an kiss us when we went to bed but there was never anything else.  The one thing that she did do that I know I will pass on and do for my kids is tell them I love them threw there lunch.  My mom would always cut out a heart every once in a while.  Write I love you on it and place it in our lunch.  God I love getting those hearts and what made it better was the fact that my mom did something I know she wasn't good at doing (crafts) because she know I would love it because I loved doing crafts and she knew I thought they crafts are how you tell people you love them.  I guess my advice to you is to go out and do something special for your kids.  something that you dont normally do that they know is special.  Even if it is as simple as a heart with the words I love you on it.
