Getting kids to eat: Easy Recipes for Kid Cooking

JustOneMoreBook by JustOneMoreBook Walking(October 2006) (rank 500+)
My children (5&7) often turn their noses up at anything new that I cook and easily tire of the standard meals that they will eat . What I've noticed, however, is that they are absolutely crazy about preparing meals themselves and will usually eat and enjoy the meals they
cook
.

I found the following website to help find easy recipes for kids to cook on http://marylaine.com/neatnew.html

Easy Recipes for Kid Cooking

Hope you find some favourites,

good website
I checked out the website you recommended. I found an interesting article about how the size of the proportion impacts on the way kids eat. Pretty important these days.

I have the worlds pickiest 6 yr old, he hates trying new things and has himself convinced he wont like it, no matter what, dinner has become a battle field when something new is put on the table. I have resorted to letting him make himself something, a sandwhich etc, as well as my kids are very active in helping make meals, which they both love, so I am going to check out the website and see how it goes, wish me luck

Good Luck mommyofWHA.  Let us know how you do with it as well!  For now mine loves all food and allnew things we introduce every now and then...so i am making the most of it!  Hope we miss the fussy phase.  But time will tell on that. Better to be prepared...
Peace
