if sids is an issue, and bumpers are out of the question, try whats called a side biscuit. she lays comfortable in the middle and eliminates her antzy-ness all over the cot ,it has a flat middle and a padded 'cushion on each side, so she stays in between both.
right where you put her, this prevents rolling around and hitting her head of the sides of the bed.
