Pneumococcal Jab

Amy has her pheumococcal jab tomorrow. I believe this is a new vaccination in the UK so has anyone from another country have experience with this jab and could you tell me where they do it and whether your child suffered from any side effects???

let you know, I live in Australia, and my daughter has had teh pneumococcal jab, and so has my son.

my daughter seemed to have the worst side affects which was soreness at the injection site, the injection site being very warm, her getting fever, and sleep trouble for the first day.

My advice would be to give your daughter panadol before taking her
