No More Rushing Around In The Morning Making Breakfast

cleannut by cleannut Talking Back(October 2006) (rank 111th)

mornings are hectic as it is,  if your one of those people who work outside the home  and have young kids. breakfast is the most important meal of the day. you want to send your kids out the door with a full belly.  a belly that isn't full of

sugary cereal but a stick to the ribs meal.  make a pile of pancakes or french toast.  put wax paper on the bottom of a cookie sheet. place the made pancakes or french toat individually onto the cookie sheet and place in freezer. wax paper is so food doesn stick to cookie sheet..

once frozen put in a freezer bag put back in freezer.   busy  mornings just  take out the amount of pancakes or french toast  your kids will eat. pop them in the toaster and viola fast nutricious tummy filling breakfast.   why pay for already made pancakes in a box from the grocery store when you can save money by taking a little time out of your day  and make thes yourself. besides at least you know the ingredients you used to make these are good for you, no chemicals. ps you can also do this with waffles. love bacon no time to make it in morning.

fry up a few packages of bacon.  follow above freezing method. come  morning take bacon out of freezer pop in microwave, do this with sausages as well.  to have these convient foods at your finger tips, like just going to the grocery store to buy these ready made items could get expensive after awhile. your paying for convience.   following this freezing methode lets your kids go to the freezer and grab the amount of ready made foods and reheat them themselves.   to many kids are eating too much sweet cereal  in the morning. they now have a healthier alternetive for breakfast.

i do this with scones, if i don't have time to make the kids breakfast in the morning i grab a heap of pumpkin scones ( i made myself) out of the freezer,i microwave them then spread them with butter, and they love them, i also give them a peice of fruit each also, which means they've already had i fruit and i veg for breaky
