what to consider next time you pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea

cleannut by cleannut Talking Back(October 2006) (rank 110th)

i've heard people cut down their caffine in their coffee,   and think drinking decalf is better.  well, you may be doingf your body more harm than good. when decafinated coffee is made their is a bleaching process that takes place to remove the caffeine. your better off drinking caffinated

coffee.  are you one of those people who use coffee whitner or put coffee mate in your coffee. again, this whitner is a petroleum product. if you put a pile of this whitner on the ground and put a match to it, it would burn up. scary huh.??!! now on the positive side of coffee or tea. if your one who likes to have a specialty coffee with a  caramel , mint, strawberry or even lemon. save your money and heres a great flavour tip to add to your hot beverages.  most of us have bought hard candies of one sort or another. my favorite is any citrus.  we have our favorite soft carmel, or toffee, again whatever flavour you love.  instead of using sugar to sweeten your coffee, stir in a soft carmel or toffee candy in your coffee. it is really quite yummy. now for teas, if your one like me who likes teas mostly fruity ones. stir in a hard candy in your tea. whether its raspberry, strawberry, even lemon. that becomes your tea sweetner, again a very flavourful hot beverage.  those specialty coffees could get expensive .  too much white sugar isn't good for you. these candies not only sweeten your drinks with less sugar content, it adds that pop of flavour those high prices coffee places offer,  for a fraction of their prices.  i've bought strawberry cholates, toffee chocolates and a buch of other flavoured chocolates. stir some of these chocolates in your hot cocoa beverage.  instead of marshmellows throw in a small flavoured chocolate that melts giving a trist to your hot chocolate. i would buy a box of fruity chocolates and let my kids pick thier own chocolate to add to their hot cup of chocolate drink. they loved it, so did thier friends when they came out of the cold on a wintery day.

enjoy

Well done
Well done cleannut.  Don't worry about the opinions of people who are negative.  I would say to Frontier and Primal fire - well done for sticking up for cleannut but are we really doing that to be mean and nasty to others????  Chrysalis you are always a treasure.

Apparently everything has the potential to slowly kill us!!! And if we believe all that we should just put up our legs and die now, I would prefer to just keep living and enjoy my coffee!!!! I think my car is a bigger killer then my coffee, I could do without my car but not my morning coffee LOL

Should this be in a recipe group.
I don't think this is advice and feel that it should be in a recipe group. I also found it hard to read and make sense of.

re: Sugestion
Interesting.. A spell check may have been wise for you - 'sugestion' has two g's. Also, you do not start sentences with capitals here - and have no full stop or commas. I'm not sure you have given yourself the authority to give her the advice, if you do not follow it yourself.

I would say Touche (But I'm not sure how to spell it) but great return from the backline.

Jack and Frontier- I am uncomfortable
about the comments this lady has received- it is very easy in an cyber situation for the written word to come across as very hard cold and negative.

(that is why we were given emoticons.)

I would be totally crushed if people responded to me like this.

Well done you two. I spoke of this very matter in my blog yesterday. http://chrysalis.minti.com/blog/
