Teething Baby's

mumatlarge by mumatlarge Standing(October 2006) (rank 500+)

When my  daughter was teething, she got really really cranky so then my grandmother told me to rub some warm honey in her gums. trust me it worked like magic. She was so distracted by the sweetness of the honey she stopped crying. I'm not saying this is a permanent

solution, but it is definitely a help. So try it and let me know if you have your little ones making those cute noises while sucking the honey off their gums heheheh :D

teething
I used to use bonjela on my daughter's gums, as the honey didn't seem to work with her. She would always throw up with the honey

Teething baby...

I myself would not put honey on my childs teeth, only because it has been recomended not to give babies honey before a certain age because of the possiblity of botchulism.

But just because I won't do it does not mean it does not work.

Teething baby...
I agree. I was told myself not to use honey until a certain age. I use orajel when I have to. If I dont need it(which is most of the time) I give her, her frozen keys to chew on or her winnie the pooh teether thingy. Since it's cold it helps with the pain. Works good!
