Never yell at your child

I have found in the past never to raise my voice unless i have to as if you yell at a child all the time, they don't listen, but if you talk softley and get down to their level and talk to them in a language they understand, they'll listen to
you like never before.

I have to admit i get frustrated very easily at my children lately however i have also noticed that if i talk, not yell, things seem to go alot better. I think they are more inclined to listen because as i am so often told they "dont get the reaction they thought they would"

It does work...
Yeah but you know he still gets that little grin like I am saying something he has no idea.. Kind of like when I am talking to a french person and am making no sence at all...  I am waiting for the day he says.. Sorry ma, I know what you mean, won't do it again..
