Teething in Australia

ljl267 by ljl267 Walking(October 2006) (rank 500+)

If your in Australia and your baby is teething, I absolutely swear by Brauer Teething Relief. Its a natural product you can by at a Pharmacy and it is the best eight dollars I ever spent on a product for a child. Its all natural and it can't hurt, it

tastes good too! Also water based flavoured ice blocks are fantastic. Pickles/gherkins work too!

Don't use aspirin based products like Bonjela as this can have some side effects for little ones which are quite serious.

Re: Teething in Australia

I have no problems with non-medicated products.  But when you dilute something a zillion biilion times that even a microscope can no longer detect the original substance and all can be seen is water???!!!  Hmm...  Those that find relief in true homeopathic remedies (the diluted kind) are experiencing a placebo effect, nothing more nothing less.  So?  You ask?  If it works?  Aggh...but beware, the orignal homeopathic remedies were nothing more than a mere spell and those that believed in these remedies ended up even sicker.  Do some research on the founder Samuel Hahnemann and you will see what I mean.

Yes, homeopathic remedy's are natural and non-medicated. But that doesn't mean they are blatent witchcraft. Natural medicines were amung the first, and many/most of today's medicines were derived from that. It's just like eating chicken soup when you have a cold. It may not work for everyone, but hey, it's not going to hurt to try.

I have to say I love Brauer's products. I used Colic Relief as a last resort after everything the doctors prescribed didn't help my daughters reflux. Surprisingly, the Brauers calmed it down a lot. I can happily say that she doesn't get much reflux much at all anymore! Shamefully I forgot they had a Teething Relief! I will have to get me some tomorrow...

As I said before... Can't hurt to try right?

WARNING- anyone considering using Brauer products, be aware that it is a homeopathic remedy, and from what I have heard of homeopathic remedies they are just watered down nothing/ witchcraft.

bonjela
i found bonjela to be the best for my daughter, and she had NO SIDE EFFECTS what so ever, and every child is different, so naturally, they're going to react differently to different things.
