Growing kids

surveythis by surveythis Walking(October 2006) (rank 500+)

Kids get to an age where it seems they're growing to fast for their body. Most often they might complain of hurting legs. It turns out that the bones are developing rapidly and they sometimes need a "Boost". We found that the natural calcium pills such as Tums, are

a great relief for those moments.

Growing pains usually last for a few days at a time, so it is good to have them on hand, for when it does come around!

Cheers

Pains
I used to get those so often when I was younger but I didn't go much.  (4' 9 1/2") LOL  But my grandmother used to always give us tums after school before dinner. I will try that when my son is feeling sore.

I've never given my child vitamins as she always gets the right nutriants out of eating and drinking fresh.

You lucky, some kids dont eat veggies.  I love veggies cool or fresh.  I try to have in at every meal but my son doesn't care for them at all.  I put them on his plate and he wont eat them.  SO i have to give him vitimains.

True that, Alexia loves her vegies, but she was still getting some growing pains at night, for about 5 nights in a row. Tums are really just a quick fix and not to be used all the times, definetely not to replace good food.
