Avoiding Sibling Jealousy

MY 6 year old  son responds well to hearing me speak about him to his 9 week old  baby sister.  I've done this since I  found out I was pregnant at 2 months.   He beams when I tell her how well he reads and that he is the one that's  helping mama take care of her.  Of course he could just be  very pleased at hearing his name  so much.  Hmmmm.....

baby steps

Great guidelines here.  Another important thing to remember is small amounts to begin with.  Some food allergies can be created by giving too much of a new thing too quickly and the body's adrenalin system over reacts.
