keeping all newsletters etc from kindy / school tidy.

Anonymous Author (November 2006)
I have kept all newsletters, drawings, pictures etc that my daughter has done in a manilla folder with plastic sleeves and kept everything that she has done either at kindy or at home in activity time in these folders. The one's that don't fit into the folders, i either put into
a box or put up around the house. Your child then can look back in about 5 or so years time and see what they've done in their kindy and school years. Once my daughter starts school, i'll be labeling the folders different again, and when she starts primary school start again and so on, and each folder so far ( she has 3 books so far in 7 terms ) i have marked book 1 kindy years and so on. I think they'll appreciate what you've done in the future.

Kindi Creations
Great suggestion! Its just what i am in the process  of doing. I am scrapbooking all the work my boys bring home from school and kindi.  It is a mammoth task and probably never will end.
with our first child we helped him put a lot of his drawings all over the walls of his cubby house . It looks great however the pics are fading and it is time to put more on display.
Alexanders art on display at Eastland Shopping Centre

Some efforts are special like this one that was chosen for display at a shopping centre.

Memories

They are all great to keep.  I have a memory box for each of my children and it has everything from the name card fromthe hospital crib to their kinda drawings.  I agree you have to keep their things to look back on.  I also use some of their larger drawings for wrapping paper for their nana's and pa's presents which trhey all love too!

Precious Memories
There is nothing to replace these memories.  When E brought home a lot of drawings that looked the same I chose a couple to keep and gave the rest away as christmas/birthday gifts.  Christmas is easy to add a calendar at the bottom and make it a wonderful masterpiece that will be prominent and last the coming year.  My family love these offerings...
Peace
