acne on teens

Anonymous Author (November 2006)

I read somewhere in a magazine about teens having acne, and the best creams they've come up with are the following

  1. Proactive
  2. Tea Tree Oil
  3. Roaccutane
  4. Zinc Tablets

I hope these are handy hints for you.

Roaccutane
Hey i just thought I'd say that you should probably be careful when using Roaccutane because I saw a documentary and a person got depression from using it. You have to watch out for the side effects.

ACNE SOLUTION

I've tried Proactiv and it exacerbated my acne problem!  It was as if with each use, it got worse and worse.  My skin was red, dry, irritated, etc.  So I definitely don't recommend using it.  The only product I've found to be effective in reducing blemishes is the Murad Acne Complex Kit.  Within a few short months you will see FULL results.  You can find more information when you visit http://www.myspace.com/acnecomplex.

Acne
I have not actually used any of these products so have no idea what they look like or if they work, although proactive seems to be the way to go :).. I just wanted to say though anyone concidering the ZInc Tablets there are side effects to this.. And they should be looked into.. My friend started using this in high school, and although he had wonderful skin he also came down with depression... He was told it might be a side effect, unfortunatly he did not stop using it because he loved the way his skin looked, but it did not help his depression...    Just make sure you read the label.. I am not sure what it is like here in Canada, but I know back home at the time (I am talking over 10 years now it was prescription only....)

Proactive does work!
Yes.. Proactive is the number one that works best.. So I have been told. I was going to buy it but it's a little out of my price range! It even works if you have dry or oil skin or a combo of both. Just like firefly I have tried everything in the drug store and nothing worked on me.. Now when I was pregnant.. I didnt have to worry about it, but not long after having my daughter, well.... I got it back again.. AHHHH lol..

Proactive is awesome.
I've always had a bit of acne.  Nothing major, but enough that I felt self conscious about it.  As an adult I took the plunge and bought Proactive.  I tried everything in the drugstore to keep the acne away, but nothing really worked.  As long as I use Proactive regularly, I don't have ANY acne.  When my kids get older, if they have problems with acne, I will use it with them.

When I see young kids with acne, I always have the urge to go whisper in their ear, "try Proactive".
