How to save on your kids toys |

I have found that I can save on Josh's toys by going to my local toy library and borrowing toys that Josh shows an interest in and seeing how long that last. If it lasts a couple of months and he is really into it then I will consider buying it
for him and his future brothers and/or sisters.
If you are planning only on or two children it might only be worthwhile borrowing them as it costs you $25 registration max for the year and then between $1 and $3 per toy depending on the size. eg puzzles and costumes are $1, babies toys are $2, and bikes and other big toys are $3. Just work out the savings you can make if you just borrowed toys for your child/ren rather than buying them and then having them grow out of or get bored with quickly.
Be aware though that they do have a limit as to how many toys are borrowed per child and for how long, but it is still worthwhile as children also need a change of toys every once in a while.
