Birth of another

My best friend recently gave birth to a beautiful little girl

<REWIND>

Months before she ask me if i wanted to watch her give birth. I said yes straight away. I knew what its was like to give birth, now i wanted to see what it

was like to watch.

ADVICE:
For anyone wishing to see the labour, GO FOR IT!
It is an experience and a half. Its beautiful and emotional.
And you should be glad that your friend trusts you at a time of need.
I watched everything! Saw the head coming out and all.

Just don't forget the tissues.

I offered my premiscuous niece the chance to see a birth when I had mine so she would know what it's like and hopefully amend her ways.  One year and six days later she gave birth to a baby boy, unfortunately I wasnt invited.

haven't seen but am interested

When i had Zac i had Mum, my sister and my sister inlaw in with me and they all said it was such a moving experience and i would love to be able to experience this hopefully when i become an aunty

I haven't seen my friends but ....
I was invited to my wifes on both occaisions 21hours and 23 hours (who said each time is shorter?) and it is something that you have burned into your brain as it is so special, traumatic, loving, emotional and such a journey that leaves this humble male in awe.

The best of both worlds
When I was a student I was priviledged to observe three births, one caesar, and two natural.  I was totally honoured and there is nothing like it.  It is a very personal time and I was so so lucky that the parents agreed for me to observe also.  Well worth it if you are EVER offered the opportunity.

The best of both worlds

 during both my labours i had students watching and they where there all the way through... i was a bit preoccupied at the time so i never really thought about it from their point of view... so i ahd no idea that it could have an affect on them hey... thanks for letting us know that it can. cheers:)
