presents for others

violeta by violeta Talking Back(November 2006) (rank 71st)
I found a way to buy presents that people love because they choose them. What I do with my nephews is I take them shoping and say ok you have $50 and you can buy what you want. So instead of giving them the money that they will spend on "
nothing" the choose something they love, or just giving them something that I think they like but they dont. The older one got him self 3 cd's for christmas last year, and game boy game for his b'day, the younger one got him self a hot wheel toy for christmas and nintendo game for b'day. with my perents I ask them what they want or need (or have a look around and see what they need) and I go and get it. One year I got my father a shaving things and they are still unopend. the next year I got them photo frames and thay loved them, last christmas I got them cd player for the car. My friends told me they were planing to buy a video player when they bought a hose so as a present they got a video player. Its great when you know that people love your present and they are going to use it.
