for moms or dads who needs energy

Anonymous Author (November 2006)
Let me tell you what i did to give myself more energy naturally. Dress comfortable and start dancing.  i would dance everymorning for half an hour in my bedroom, get moving music, and dance in a way that you have to exagerate your moves. you look kind of stupid but
who cares, nobody sees you. By moving so much you do exercises and you have fun.  if you have little ones, you put them in the playpen or dance with them. they will laugh with you and at you.  the next thing i knew i would do it for a hour and lost 35 pounds. i always danced with my girls and they loved it. They are really active today and they love to dance. Before you start  do a few stretching to warm up your musles and get going.  It will give you a reason to start your day good and gives you so much energy.  Between meals if i was hungry i would go dance instead then forgot i was hungry.  Your kids will ask you to go dance with them and you will realize you will be doing it a few times a day. It is good for our body and mind. Get some good CD and let's go.  Don't forget exagerate your moves, move those shoulders and those hips!

You Bet!!!

Good on you for losing 35 pounds. That's great!!!

I do Windsor Pilates everyday, & that's great for stretching & toning, but not too good for weight loss.... I think I'll try to do BOTH everyday!!!

Too right

Dancing is very therapeutic.  I remember the days when i'd get my boys up for school and we'd dance the morning away.  We were all fit and very very happy!  I lost my feet during my last relationship - thanks for reminding me of just how much fun we used to have - I begin again - today!

Also dancing and singing loud - to loud music, while I do housework, seems to get the work done twice as fast!

Awesome reminder!  Cant thank you enough!

We have to think of ourselves first for everything else to fall in place. I am happy i was able to remind u of the good advantages of dancing. Let me know if u find some good songs to dance to. Take care.

Music is good for the mood...
For me music will cheer me up when I need and totally wake me up... The radio goes on first thing in the morning when I come downstairs.... I dance with my son.. He loves it.. I think he thinks I am crazy.. But I am sure he will tell me when he can say the word... Nothing like a good dance to get the blood pumping.....
