At the moment I am very lucky to be near a hospital with very caring staff who have never once made me feel like I am wasting their time even when all symptoms are gone by the time I walk through the doors, but unfortunately it isn't always like that. Some
hospital staff are so tired or rushed off their feet that they miss small things that could be signs to more serious illnesses. At hospitals in other places I have always had to stay put until I felt comfortable enough to take my child home. Mothers intuition is so much more than an old wives tale. Mothers intuition has saved so many babies and I always tell new mothers to trust their instincts. They know their babies better than anyone else and if they feel there is something wrong then they should see a doctor because there is very probably something wrong and if there is nothing wrong then it is better to be safe than sorry. Please trust your instincts where your child is concerned and never feel that you are wasting anybodies time because it is more important to be sure about your childs welfare and doctors and nurses don't mean to make mistakes but unfortunately they do.
